Hi guys, how's going?
It's the time to finish fall semester here. As you know, my exams has already done and I just have been doing what I want to do, such as writing a blog and diary, sleeping as much as I want, walking around my neighborhood and go out with my friends. During the semester, I didn't have much time to hang out or walk around Milwaukee because I've had a lot to do for my class. But now, I can use my time whatever I want. It's super fun to exploring Milwaukee!
Also, many students are coming back to their houses during this long winter break. Recently, I always see people putting their stuff into the cars and go back to the house. My dorm is becoming quiet. Awww I wanna go back to my house and eat Udon! Lol Though I'm jealous those of who are going back, I'm going to the travel soon so that I'm not so sad right now.

I would forget everything that I did in Chicago during Thanksgiving holiday if I didn't write down before leaving for new York. Lol

On the 27th, we left Sandburg at 7am and went to the Amtrak station.
(Thanks god, we could get up on that day...)

In the Amtrak, I was eating food we brought from Monique's house the day before. haha

It took one and a half hours from Milwaukee to Chicago.
Amtrak was similar to a train, but the seat was much more like a Shinkansen. I like it.

We arrived at Chicago Union Station at 9:30am.

The Great Hall
(This is a waiting hall in the Union Station)

It was already very Christmassy.

Macy's

Found them in GODIVA

 Walked around downtown Chicago.

Around noon(maybe) we finally met Risako!
She was coming from Madison because she was in Ashley's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Lunch was our favorite Panda Express. haha

Though the day was black friday, it was just a sale...
But I like window shopping so it doesn't matter for me!

I got free T-shirt and gift card! Yay!

 Downtown Chicago in the evening

It was my first visit to Chicago and also my first airbnb experience.
Yegun found good accommodation for us in downtown Chicago. The room was a little bit small for four of us, but it was much cheaper than staying in hotel and our host was really kind, she gave us an extra bed. Dinner was home-made pasta and beef, it was so delicious and fun night.

For next day, we would have a tight schedule so that we were thinking to go to bed as soon as possible, but you know, it's impossible if you are with your friends in the night. haha

So, stay tuned to Chicago day 2 post!
See you soon!
(I will try to finish to write about this thanksgiving trip before 2016. Lol)
